Featuring Musical Guest

Out of the Dust

Out of the Dust is the name of this duo and the headline of their story. Husband-and-wife Chris and Steph Teague’s story of downfall, divorce, and miraculous remarriage is woven deep into their artistry that has blossomed into a worldwide ministry. Acclamation for their music has allowed them to play in hundreds of cities nationally and share their restoration with millions globally as well as receive features in media outlets such as Fox News, The 700 Club, and Family Life Today.

This universal story of God’s redemption crosses the boundaries of age, gender and culture, resonating with anyone who’s ever known loss or heartbreak. Their multi-genre songwriting catalog reveals the hearts of two true lovers of music who are broken, healed and called to help others make sense of their suffering. Using music as the platform, they continue to tour and take steps of faith with contagious joy as they spread the message of hope to a world desperately in need.

Make it a weekend away for two!

Located in Normal, Illinois, which is two hours south of Chicago, two hours north of St. Louis, and two and a half hours west of Indianapolis, our home is in the country and surrounded by miles of corn and bean fields. However, we’re only three miles from stores and restaurants. It’s country quiet with city conveniences just down the road.

Bloomington-Normal is filled with Abraham Lincoln history. The David Davis Mansion is located in town and we’re only a one hour drive (or train ride) to Lincoln sites in Springfield, Illinois (Presidential Museum and Lincoln Home). Bloomington-Normal is also located along historic Route 66 and there is a Route 66 Museum in town. There are over 40 parks and 27 miles of blacktop walking, riding, running trails through town. These make for great weekend getaway activities!

Want to make it a really special weekend? You can purchase a raffle ticket to enter a giveaway to stay the night on Friday, June 3 in the Savage’s home. The Savage’s are former Airbnb hosts who now enjoy hosting others in their home for marriage coaching and intensives. The winners of the raffle will enjoy extra time with the Savages, Out of the Dust, and a country breakfast cooked by Mark and Jill. (Proceeds from the raffle will go towards Mark and Jill’s upcoming mission trip to Uganda to present their No More Perfect Marriages seminar to 1800 Ugandan pastors and their wives.)
