A Fun Weekend

Mark officiated a wedding this weekend at Starved Rock State Park in Utica, IL. We stayed at the Starved Rock Lodge and spent our free time exploring the beautiful waterfalls, cliffs, and forests found just an hour north of our central IL home.

Sometimes it’s just good to get away from the daily routines of life and enjoy God’s beautiful creation!

i love Starved Rock! it’s one of those places that I am close enough to (about and hour) but always forget to visit. i was probably last there in high school. i think it’s time for a family drive…you’ve inspired me! those pictures are beautiful, especially the waterfall!

Ooh. We have a park like that near Austin called Hamilton Pool. It looks like you had a nice time.
