“I realized at the start that whether a child is biological or adopted, one does not know all the ingredients in the package. That is what growth is all about . A child is the slowest flower in the world, opening petal by petal, revealing the developing personality within.” ~Robert Klose
I have a flower that was adopted. Sometimes I just don’t understand him and we fight terribly. When most flowers close their petals for rest each night that is when my flower blooms and I get to see the petals unfold. This is when he talks to me about what is on his little heart. After he is talked out then he is able to fold his beautiful petals and fall asleep. I can’t wait to see him in full bloom, but would not miss watching each petal unfold for anything………..Love this analogy. Thanks for sharing
