“Many times when you see a hostile, angry teenager, you are not seeing the heart of that teen. It’s a mask, a signal that he is hurting on the inside.”

HUGS FROM MAINE
Hey Jill, this is my first time to your blog! I just wanted to leave a note for you and let you know that I read your book "Professionalizing Motherhood" about five years ago. (Sorry, I would have visited your blog sooner, but I was lost in laundry for a few years, plus didn't even discover the wonderful world of blogging until a month ago). I had picked it up at the library and soaked up the Godly wisdom. I hope I am remembering this correctly, but didn't you talk about a time that you called back your husband to ask for forgiveness? I just remember how you shared that our children's eyes are always watching and how your kids had picked up on your humbleness. I always remember that part from the book. Thanks so much being a mentor through the pages of a book!
I just entered the world of being a mom to a tee today. My oldest just turned 13. I've been "glued" to your book "Got Teens?". Thank you so much for your wisdom!
Lindsey and Christine,
I'm so glad you found my blog! Lindsey, I'm thrilled to hear you soaked in so much in Professionalizing Motherhood. That makes an author proud!
Christine, hang in there on the teen years. I can truly say that I have enjoyed the teen years so much…not that there aren't challenges…but it is so fun to usher your kids into adulthood!
