My husband is home!
So many of you have been lifting us up in prayer since my post in early February. I am humbled at the people God has raised up to pray for us for the past 4 months. If you have been among them, I want to thank you. Your encouragement, support, and prayers have meant the world to me.
There is still a season of healing ahead to us, but we are in a good place. For that, I am very grateful. I know that God will use this difficult season for His purposes.
Will you join me in thanking God today for the healing work He has done and will continue to do?

As I was on my run this morning, I thanked God that Mark is back home with you. This week, a friend came to my door to tell me she was divorced. It was over. She’d moved on to another relationship. I felt defeated again. How do we encourage people that working on marriage is worth it? Your news gave my heart hope once again. All it takes from us is a little step in the direction of God and God wants to do amazing things for us. I will continue to pray for you and Mark and your family. It is encouraging to know that even when all hope seems lost, God remains our source of hope. I am so grateful that you and Mark are willing to work through this. God does heal and does work miracles! Thank you for sharing this news with us. Thank God!

I know it is discouraging when people give up so easily. We have to keep our eyes on the Mountain Mover…not on the mountains! I think that makes a big difference!

I found your posting on just the right day. My husband and I are going through a really difficult season right now and the devil would love nothing more than to destroy us. We are in public positions in our church so it is hard to be honest about what is going on. It blessed me to see someone else having the courage to be open about their struggles, especially when they are also in the public eye. Thank you.

I’ve found that people respect honesty. Sure, there are still things about this that we are being private about, but I have found that our honesty helps other people be honest. Hang in there, get the help you need, it is worth it!

Thank you for sharing this part also of your life with us. It must have been very difficult. But, can you imagine how many more couples may be inspired by your courage and faith.
I’m overjoyed that God is getting all the credit and glory for this restoration and has defeated the enemy.
