Does that picture creep you out? It’s a bit blurry, but there’s no missing the essence of the image.
Imagine my reaction when I was getting a laundry load out of the dryer and discovered this “bug.”
It seems that one of my boys picked up the plastic bug at the Orkin exhibit at the county fair last week. He stuck it in his pants pocket and forgot about it.
But hey, I found it! I’ll admit that it took my breath away for just a moment and then I laughed until my stomach hurt!
By the way, if you get my blog posts via email, you might have to click on the link above to see the picture. It’s worth the click!
I would have had a heart attack! The closest we’ve ever come to dryer critters is my cat actually climbing in and sleeping in it. Sometimes on top the clothes, sometimes empty. Guaranteeing we will ALWAYS need a lint roller.
Oh Jill! This reminds me of the time I decided to pull out my old player piano from the wall and dust behind it. Granted, this didn’t happen very often! It was a nasty mess of dust and cobwebs. I screamed out loud when I saw a huge, black spider coming out with my feather duster. It was HUGE, like 3 inches across. I ran away and was afraid to come back in the room. Finally, I knew I had to do something. I went back in with some weapon and when I saw that it hadn’t moved at all I looked a little closer. It was a plastic spider ring that someone had tucked into the back of the piano. I was thankful that my four school-aged boys were at school so no one could ever know that they REALLY got mom that day:)
