Today’s a holiday…the kids are out of school…and we’re returning from an overnight in Indiana where we celebrated Mark’s mom birthday with a surprise party.
So today’s Marriage Monday will depart from it’s normal routine. We have one simple question for you:
What have you done to invest in your marriage today?
If the answer is nothing, then stop what you are doing and give your spouse a kiss if he/she is home, or send him/her a text, or prepare their favorite food, or send an e-card.

Last night I fed the kids early…then put them to bed early (the older kids read in bed), and made a nice dinner for me and my husband. It was so nice to enjoy "grown-up" food with just the two of us…with uninterrupted conversation!
Date night in…and we didn't have to pay for a meal out or a sitter! 🙂
The kids all had something they were doing last night, so my husband and I laid on the couch and watched a movie…..BY OURSELVES! We tickled each other's arms and had a nice relaxing evening!!!
