Actually… we just had a great date last week while my hubby was on vacation! My sis spent the night to watch the kiddos and hubby planned the whole date in secret! I had no idea where we were going! It was so fun! We ended up going to the Jazz Kitchen where an 11pc swing band was playing! The food was good, the music was good and the company was great! It was the best date we’ve had in a long time!

We have one on the calendar for December. Hey Jill through your years of ministry do you and Mark find it hard to have that time and not feel like you are not being with your kids. Between ministry commitments and trying to make special time for the kids it is hard. I can totally relate to your Hawaii leaving experience of guilt. We just got to go to CA. this fall and it was so nice to be just the two of us but parts of me thought oh we should have the kids. Anyway for our December date I am booking a double massage, going to Bone Fish grill, and then maybe Starbucks. How fun and relaxing… I can’t hardly wait. This is how we will be celebrating fifteen fun filled years of marriage. Hope you had a blast in Hawaii.
