Tis the season for busyness. We bustle from store to store, trying to get everything done on our to-do list.
Today’s Motivation Monday challenge is to do just the opposite: sit and reflect.
Fix yourself a cup of tea or hot chocolate, put your feet up, gaze at the Christmas lights, and reflect on God sending His Son to earth. Thank God for all you have. Marvel at the ages and stages of your children. Think about 2011 and reflect on lessons learned.
Lord, help me to reflect on the past, look forward to the future, and be fully present today. Amen.
It is so true. I heard a sermon recently about reflecting light. It is amazing how this season needs to be about God and him sending us such a precious gift in Jesus, and yet distractions often take over. Thank you for yet another reminder of taking truth in.
