If you were planning on joining us for our live webcast tonight, you know that things didn’t go as planned. We were ready…but it seems the computers and the webcasting program couldn’t handle the almost 700 people who were joining us.
When you work so hard to make something happen, and you have that many people counting on you, it’s so disappointing. And sometimes you just have to cry.
The shortest verse in the Bible is “Jesus wept.” My feelings are not lost to Jesus. He knows what it feels to be disappointed. He knows the feelings of discouragement. So as I talk with him about the whole thing, He definitely understands.
But do you know what else I know?
My God hasn’t changed.
He’s the same right now as He was three hours ago.
And that, my friends, is what I’m going to choose to focus on for right now.

Maybe this will help encourage you. I signed up to listen as I knew it would be an awesome time. However, my husband has been traveling overseas for the last couple of weeks and we were unsure of his return date; I was doubtful of his being home in time to hear it. God blessed us (& him) by allowing him to come home Wed. MY little plan was working – he WOULD be here for the Thursday night webcast! But alas, jet lag caught up with him last night just after supper and at 8:30 he was soundly asleep on the couch!! So,I for one – although I am deeply sorry for your frustration and everyone's inconvenience, am happy that it will be rescheduled. Be encouraged, that God's ways are better than our ways!! Although I know that you know this — please do remember who the true enemy is here. The enemy who does not want the truth to be known and who does battle against “technology”. He attacks those who can reach the hearts of the hurting.
