This recipe is one I often serve to company or take to pitch-in meals. It’s a recipe I’m asked to share quite often, too. The best part, though, is that it is sooooooo easy.
1 box 9×13 Brownie mix (I use Aldi brand)
1 can Chocolate Icing (I use Aldi brand)
1/2 bag of small marshmallows
Prepare the brownies according to the directions on the box. As soon as the brownies come out of the over pour a single layer of marshmallows over the hot brownies. Open the can of chocolate icing and place icing in microwave (stirring occasionally) until it is melted enough to pour easily (usually less than a minute). Pour icing over the marshmallows. Use a spatula to spread the icing and cover the marshmallows completely. Let cool.
I’m a sucker for warm brownies, but this recipe is actually best when the brownies are completely cool. Enjoy!

You’re driving me crazy with all these yummy recipes! I made the lemonade pie last night. I’m using it in a supper-swap tonight. I haven’t eaten it yet but I did lick the spatula and it was soooo good! I placed sliced strawberries on top to dress it up a bit. If I’d planned ahead better I might have blended up some strawberries to put in the pie filling itself. Oh, well, maybe next time!
