You won’t believe what I had to do this weekend. In a matter of just 24 hours I had to replace my blender, my hand mixer, and my iron! I couldn’t believe it! I’ve decided that we need to start a new cultural tradition. I think we need to give married couples an anniversary shower when they hit 25 years! 🙂
Do you live in the Kenosha or Milwaukee area in Wisconsin? If so, I’m heading your way this week! Come join the fun if you’re within driving distance.

But the best part of this deal is for me, because I get to spend three days with my daughter and son-in-law! They live in Illinois, but just a mile or two from the Wisconsin border. Anne asked for help getting her house ready for the baby! Of course, I said yes!
By the way, thank you for all that wonderful wisdom shared to encourage a first time parent. I intended for it to encourage any of my blog readers who are first time parents, but I realized that now means my Annie! If you’re a first time mom or you know of a first time mom who could use some encouragement, make sure you glean some great wisdom from all that was shared here.
Jill, I agree, though I think 15 years would be a good time to have that shower to replace items! I've thought that for a long time. Have a great week. Cathy, Indiana
Jill,
I am so excited that you will be speaking to our FCC MOPS group tomorrow! We feel beyond blessed that you would come and speak into all of our lives.
Hope you are having a wonderful visit with Annie.
Praying for you!
Amanda

Jill-Thank you so much for coming to speak with the FCC Mops group. Your words were very inspiring and encouraging, and hilarious as well:) We wish you all the best as you continue to share what God has laid on your heart to all those moms out there. Congrats and God's blessings as you move to the grandma role! Heather
Well, what else can I say? It was so much fun to have lunch with you yesterday and sharing in our mothering adventures! Your talk was so encouraging to me and I have already told many people about it! I will think of you everytime my daughter lays her self down on the floor to throw a fit! "It's not about me!, It's not about me!" May God bless you and your family as you continue to seek God's will and direction. You will be in my prayers."
