WOW!
Jill, I have to say thank you so much for sharing. I sat here with my son that is now almost 4, the youngest and only boy of my three children, and remember the day he was born. I would like to say it was wonderful and I had such a great experience welcoming him into the world, but due to health issues I wasnt able to bond and hold him until he was 24 hours old. This blog made my heart cry for this mother for so many different reasons….remembering how I felt, and only imagining how she felt. She is an amazing person and an even more amazing mother that had the courage to share this very personal experience. What an inspiration! This is without a doubt Hearts-at-Home material! Without you, I wouldnt have ever heard their story…thank you again for sharing this link!
Blessings!

Thank you for sharing this story. I have an 8 year old son with Down Syndrome and this could have been his birth story. It was the happiest and saddest day of my life.
