I LOVE when the first day of the month is on the first day of the week.  It screams “fresh start” to me.

I guess you could say a fresh start is a “reboot” of sorts.  Just like a computer needs a reboot every once in a while, our body, mind, and habits need a reboot occasionally, too.

Spiritually, I always read the book of Proverbs every month. I read the chapter in Proverbs that corresponds to the day of the month it is.  That means that today, I get to start all over again by reading chapter 1. That is wisdom I desperately need!

I’m also starting a new exercise routine today. I discovered a new exercise class in town and I signed up…for the 5:15am class!  Crazy, I know!
