In this unique season of family , we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here’s Day 15:

Your soul:

Attend church online today. If you don’t have a home church, I invite you to mine: https://eastview.church/

You:

Are you still reading that book you started a couple of weeks ago? Get another chapter in today!

Marriage:

Get signed up for the No More Perfect Marriages Seminar: Home Edition taking place this week!

Kids:

Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Kids: Today’s a great day to write a story. Even if little ones can’t spell, they can draw pictures to tell a story. Use computer paper or construction paper to make a book.

Teens: How about indoor s’mores today for your teens? You can roast the marshmallow over the flame of a gas stove, in the fireplace, or use a microwave (microwave for just 5 seconds!) Yummy!

Exercise:

Interval walk. If you can get outside and walk today, add some “intervals” into your walk where you change your speed to a jog or a run for 30-60 seconds every five minutes.

House/Homemaking

Time for a meal plan again. Plan out your meals for the week. If you have kids at home, include snacks in your plan.

Clothes:

When was the last time you went through and organized your linen closet (towels, sheets, etc)? Today’s a great day to do that! Sheet storage hack: Store sheet sets in the pillowcase. This keeps the sets together and makes it easy to pull off the shelf.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
