In this unique season of family , we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Here’s Day 17:
Read Psalms 23 today through the eyes of our current circumstances.
You:
Water: set an alarm on your phone today to drink 6-8 oz of water every hour. Water is for our body what oil is for a car. We need far more than most of us drink. Maybe you could start a new habit today!
Marriage:
Send gifs back and forth to each other today…all day–even if you’re under the same roof! (Oh and don’t forget to sign up for the No More Perfect Marriages Seminar: Home Edition that starts tonight!)
Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Kids: Time for some sidewalk chalk drawings. Have the kids decorate the sidewalks around your home or the deck or driveway if you live in a rural area.
NOTE: Today is a great day for you to put together Resurrection Eggs for your kids! This will help you tell the Easter story and give your kids something to anticipate every day.
Teens: Have your teen touch base with their grandparents today. If they don’t have any living grandparent, have them reach out to an older neighbor to see how they’re doing.
Exercise:
Hit the stairs today. Up and down 10 times (two sets of 5 is fine–5 x up and down is usually about all I can handle at a time!)
House/Homemaking
Just about everyone has a “junk drawer.” You know the one that’s full of miscellaneous items you might need! Today’s the day to clean that out!
Clothes:
