In this unique season of family , we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Here are your day 21 opportunities:
Proverbs 18:4. With all this togetherness, we need to remember the power of our words.
?You:
Give yourself grace today. You can’t do things perfectly because perfect doesn’t happen on this side of heaven. Give yourself grace today when you feel you fall short.
?Marriage:
Ask your spouse: What’s going on inside of you right now?
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Kids: Hopscotch is a great activity for kids. Outside you can use chalk and inside you can use painters tape. To make it harder, use a bean bag to toss onto the hopscotch board to indicate which square you need to not step on!
Teens: Have your teen go through all the papers in their room. Tell them to categorize any papers that need to be kept and then to create a file for each category. Encourage them to set up a file system that works for them (this is the beginning of learning how to do that as an adult someday!).
?♀️Exercise:
High knees today. This is like marching with high knees or to make it more challenging, it’s like running in place with high knees.
?Contact:
Send your nieces and nephews a text today or, if you’d like, drop a note of encouragement in the mail to them. If they are young, do a video call with them.
?House/Homemaking
Choose one more kitchen cabinet to clean out and reorganize today.
?Clothes:
Time to go through winter hats, gloves, and scarves. You’re probably done using them this year so get them cleaned out and organized.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
