In this unique season of family , we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 32 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Read the second chapter in Philippians today. Underline or write down any verse you can specifically apply to your life.

?You:
If you haven’t already, choose a portion of your day to unplug from the news and social media today. Be fully present in what you’re doing today. It’s a gift to yourself and to those around you!

?Marriage:
Flirt all day today and then prioritize some “sheet music” soon! (Need some encouragement in that area of your life? Check out my Is There Really Sex After Kids? book!)

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Kids and Teens: Do a “surprise ride” today. Decide on a treat your family enjoys (i.e. Dairy Queen) and then yell “Surprise Ride–you have one minute to get your shoes on and meet me in the car.” Don’t tell them where you’re going…just drive to the surprise place! If you want to add an activity on to the treat like playing Frisbee in the park, you can do that too.

?‍♀️Exercise:
Focus on stretching today. I shared this video a few weeks ago, but it’s a great one to use again to stretch your body and soul!

?Contact:
Touch base with a cousin you haven’t connected with in a while.

?House/Homemaking
Wipe down the top and outside of your washer and dryer.

?Clothes:
Clean off one shelf in your closet today!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
