In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 39 opportunities:
Read Ruth 3. Don’t hesitate to circle, underline, or write in your Bible! It’s the living, breathing word of God!
?You:
Give yourself a manicure today. Your hands get a lot of wear and tear. If you don’t usually wear any type of nail color, just trim and shape your nails and put on some hand lotion throughout the day to give them some much-needed TLC!
?Marriage:
Make out. After the kids go to bed, enjoy some old-fashioned making out on the couch!
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Play “drop a toy in the bucket.” Encourage your little one to drop a toy in the bucket to make a sound. Say the word “drop” each time you or he does that! This helps fine motor skills and language development!
Kids: Make bird feeders today by stringing popcorn or cheerios on yarn and then let them hang them on the trees or somewhere outside where they can watch the birds enjoy them!
Teens: Encourage your teen to set goals today in three areas: physical (taking care of their body), spiritual (taking care of their soul), and general accomplishments he/she would like to pursue.
?♀️Exercise:
Leg lifts. 3 sets of 10 leg lifts on your back. Then 3 sets on each side.
?Contact:
Send a note to someone who has encouraged you in your journey as a mom. Let them know the difference they’ve made in your life!
?House/Homemaking
Sweep off your porch and/or deck.
?Clothes:
Wash all your bed pillows today. They probably could use a cleaning!
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
