Today's Opportunity Plan Day 40In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 40 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Read Ruth 4. You will finish the book today!

?You:
Give yourself a pedicure today. Your feet work hard! Soak them in some warm baking soda water or Epsom salts. Add in an essential oil if you have something. After your soak, add some nail color if you like your toes to be “sandal ready!”

?Marriage:
Watch our 3 minute marriage video we did for Focus on the Family Marriage together today. Think about how you can still do something special for your marriage during this season. (FYI…you can still sign up for next week’s No More Perfect Marriages Home Edition seminar!)

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Play with balls today. Put smaller balls in buckets. Roll a ball back and forth. Bounce a ball and marvel at the sound it makes.

Kids: Time to pull out the wet-erase markers and make a new creation on the patio door or a window in the house. Give your kids the challenge of a “spring theme” and let them go to town!

Teens: Talk with your teen today. Not at them. Listen to their heart, their fears, their disappointments, their excitement. Don’t try to fix it at all. Just empathize.

?‍♀️Exercise:
Crunches–2 sets of 10 (these are like half sit-ups)

?Contact:
If your mom is alive, start working on writing a tribute you could frame and give her for Mother’s Day.

?House/Homemaking
It’s time to clean out one vehicle!

?Clothes:
1 load of laundry= wash+dry+folded+put away!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
