In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 41 opportunities:
Read Romans 12:9-21. These verses will show you how to love and respond to someone who is hard to love.
?You:
Weather permitting, sit outside and just marvel at creation. Focus on being grateful for the little things in creation.
?Marriage:
Ask your spouse, “What’s your earliest memory from childhood?” Listen well and ask two or three questions more about what he/she shares.
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Focus on music today. Turn on some music and dance with your little one.
Kids: Challenge your kids to build a Lego castle today.
Teens: Encourage your teen to make a bucket list of 100 things he/she would like to do in their lifetime.
?♀️Exercise:
Standing leg lifts–two sets of 10 to the front and 10 to the side (you might want to stand near a wall for balance). If you happen to have resistance bands…use those to increase the resistance.
?Contact:
Reach out to someone from church that you miss seeing. Let them know you miss them and are thinking of them!
?House/Homemaking
It’s time to clean out another vehicle!
?Clothes:
Tackle a dresser drawer (yours or one of your kids) that’s overflowing and disorganized.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
