In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 44 opportunities:
Read Jonah 2. Identify what parts of Jonah’s story apply to your life.
Weather permitting, get at least 15 minutes of sunshine today. Increase that Vitamin D in your body!
Send each other flirty texts throughout the day! (If you haven’t already, get signed up for our No More Perfect Marriages Seminar: Home Edition that starts tomorrow!)
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies–Introduce your little one to the feeling of grass on bare feet.
Kids–Today is a great day for a tea party! Have one with the kids!
Teens–Have your teen find a recipe they can make for the family for breakfast this week.
Touch your toes 10 times today.
Make a list of older people you know in your community: from church, neighbor or former neighbor, relative. Reach out to one of them today to see if there is anything they need.
Wipe down kitchen counters completely–moving everything off them and cleaning them well. Only put things back on the counter that live there permanently. Store, sort, or toss everything else that was on there.
1 load of laundry. Wash+Dry+Fold/Hang+Put Away!
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
