Today's Opportunity Plan Day 49In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 49 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Read Proverbs 2 today!

?You:
Still reading a book from earlier in the month? Read another chapter today. If you’re not reading something, get started today!

?Marriage:
It’s probably time for some sheet music. Get your head in the game for making intimacy happen soon!

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies–Play with a ball today. Roll it back and forth. Hide it and see if your little one can look for it.

Kids–Here in Illinois it’s going to be warm enough for the kids to run in the sprinkler. If it’s warm where you are, let them do something completely different today–like playing in the sprinkler!

Teens–Encourage your teen to sit outside in the sun and read for an hour today.

?‍♀️Exercise:
Corner stretch. Stand in a corner and put your forearms on each wall. Lean in to the corner and stretch your chest and back muscles. This is particularly helpful for good posture!

?Contact:
If your mom is still with you, think about how you can make Mother’s Day special for her even from a distance.

?House/Homemaking
Clean out the space under another sink in your house today.

?Clothes:
1 load of laundry completely done: Wash + Dry + Fold + Put Away!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
