Today's Opportunity Plan Day 56In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 56 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Today is May 9 so we’re going to read Proverbs 9 for your daily dose of wisdom!

?You:
Smile today as much as you can. It’s amazing what smiling does for your attitude!

?Marriage:
Ask each other, “What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish today?” Then help each other with each of your tasks. Resist the urge to comment on how your spouse is tackling the task–you are the helper to him or her. Let them determine the strategy!

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Introduce your little one to the sounds of nature today. Talk about what your ears are hearing.

Kids: Got sidewalk chalk? Encourage the kids to make some great drawings! Do they have a favorite Bible verse? They can write that out and draw around it (or you can teach them a verse and have them write it out to practice learning it)!

Teens: Engage them in the kitchen today. They like to eat…they need to learn to cook!

?‍♀️Exercise:
Got weeds? Weeding is great exercise–plus you get a task done!

?Contact:
Touch base with a sibling today.

?House/Homemaking
Make a meal plan for the upcoming week!

?Clothes:
Wash one load = Wash + Dry + Fold/Hang + Put away!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
