Today's Opportunity Plan Day 59In this unique season, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 59 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Today is May 12 so we’re going to read Proverbs 12 for our daily dose of wisdom!

?You:
Affirm yourself today–call out your strengths. Too often our mind is filled with self-criticizing thoughts. Today, focus only on self-affirming thoughts.

?Marriage:
Get the two of you registered for our next No More Perfect Marriages: Home Edition seminar today. It’s May 26-29, 8pm CST each night (sessions are also recorded). You can save $20 if you register through tomorrow! Use this season of reduced evening commitments to strengthen your marriage!

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Make sensory bottles today. Put a variety of items in empty bottles. The kind of item will create different sounds when the bottles are shaken.

Kids and Teens:  Surprise Ride! Decide where you’ll go (on a hike, in a drive-through to get ice-cream, etc) and then yell “surprise ride.” Tell everyone they have one minute to get in the car! The anticipation and surprise of the destination is so fun!

?‍♀️Exercise:
15 minute ab workout–Here’s a YouTube video that requires no equipment

?Contact:
Send a box of sunshine to someone. (This is where you send a box of goodies that are all yellow! Need ideas? Search “box of sunshine” on Pinterest!)

?House/Homemaking
Season your cast iron skillets today. (Need to know how? Google it!)

?Clothes:
Organize one dresser drawer today–yours or one of the kids!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
