In this unique season of sheltering in, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 62 opportunities:
Today is May 15 so we’re going to read Proverbs 15 for our daily dose of wisdom!
?You:
Replace guilt with grace today. Give yourself a break from your unrealistic expectations.
?Marriage:
Talk about how you could find an hour or two alone this weekend (ideas: after the kids go to bed, before the kids wake up, during naptime, put a movie on for the kids so you can sit out on the porch and talk, etc). Then make it happen!
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Give your baby a bubble bath today. Let them enjoy the bubbles!
Kids: Paint rocks today. Put the painted rocks on the porch to bring a smile to the face of any delivery drivers that deliver to your home!
Teens: Practice something you haven’t practiced in a while–shooting a basketball, playing piano, playing your band instrument, cross-country running, etc.
?♀️Exercise:
Power walk with 30 second running/jogging intervals every five minutes.
?Contact:
Reach out to a sibling today.
?House/Homemaking
Empty all the trash cans in the house. If any of them are icky, take them outside and scrub them well.
?Clothes:
Tackle one shelf in a closet that needs to be cleaned out and organized.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
