In this unique season of sheltering in, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 66 opportunities:
Today is May 19 so we’re going to read Proverbs 19 for our daily dose of wisdom!
Do you enjoy an adult coloring book? If so, take some time to color today!
Ask your spouse, “How can I pray for you today?” Then pray.
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Sing as much as you can today! Little ones love music!
Kids and Teens: Help your kids and teens think about others who have less. If you sponsor a Compassion child, have them write to them or draw a picture for them. If you don’t sponsor a child, consider doing so. At just $38 a month, you can introduce your kids to the needs of those who have less. They can learn about the culture of where the child lives. They can write and pray for the sponsored child. If you have the financial means, you could even have each child pick out their own child to sponsor–maybe one that shares their birthday!
Jumping jacks: 3 sets of 25 today
Reach out to a neighbor today. Let them know you’re thinking of them and see if there is anything they need.
Run the vacuum on one level today.
Get rid of ten pieces of clothing in your closet that you’re not wearing. Pare down!
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
