Today's Opportunity Plan Day 67In this unique season of sheltering in, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 67 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Today is May 20 so we’re going to read Proverbs 20 for our daily dose of wisdom!

?You:
Resist comparing. Say to yourself, “She has a backstory I don’t know.” when you start comparing yourself to someone else. If this is a place you’d like to grow, that’s what we talk about in my No More Perfect Moms book.

?Marriage:
Brainstorm about what you can do to celebrate your next milestone anniversary in a special way. If you would need to start saving financially for it, make a plan to do that today.

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Find a zoo website and look at the animals together.

Kids and Teens: Today’s a great day for a Hula hoop contest. Give them some time to practice and then set the time for the competition.  The winner gets to choose the ice cream shop you go to after the contest!

?‍♀️Exercise:
Hula Hoop with the kids today!

?Contact:
Send a note to someone whose friendship you appreciate. Let them know what they bring to your life.

?House/Homemaking
Stairs. Run the vacuum on any stairs in the house today.

?Clothes:
Get rid of ten more pieces of clothing in your closet that you’re not wearing. Pare down!

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
