In this unique season of sheltering in, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 68 opportunities:
Today is May 21 so we’re going to read Proverbs 21 for our daily dose of wisdom!
?You:
Give yourself grace today. Replace guilt with grace. You’re not perfect and you need to let yourself off the hook when you bump into your own imperfection.
?Marriage:
Ask your spouse, “What’s your earliest memory in your childhood?”
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Do some stretching and strengthening today using your little one as a weight.
Kids and Teens: Help your kids and teens understand Memorial Day (yes it’s coming up this Monday!). Here’s a blog post I wrote with some ideas for how to do that.
?♀️Exercise:
High steps—like marching in place with high knees–do three sets of 30 seconds.
?Contact:
Send a note to your child’s teacher today, thanking him or her for the investment they made this year.
?House/Homemaking
Pick a pile to get rid of today. What’s been sitting there that you haven’t tackled. Today’s the day!
?Clothes:
Laundry! Wash + Dry + Fold/Hang + Put Away = Done!
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
