Today's Opportunity Plan Day 70In this unique season of sheltering in, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 70 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Today is May 23 so we’re going to read Proverbs 23 for our daily dose of wisdom!

Get 15 minutes of sunshine today (if the weather allows). Just savor the warmth of the sun on your body. Close your eyes and breathe deeply.

Ask your spouse, “If I could give you a gift that couldn’t be wrapped up (not something tangible), what would be a gift you would love from me?”

Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Take a stroller stroll.

Kids and Teens: Surprise ride! Determine how you’ll surprise the kids and then yell “Surprise Ride!” Everyone has a minute to get in the car and head towards the surprise.

3 planks–30 seconds each

Connect with each of your kids today in a meaningful way. Give them your full attention.

Plant a pot of flowers for your porch today.

Have everyone put all their dirty clothes in the hamper today (make sure they look under their bed!)

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
