Today's Opportunity Day 78

It’s the last day of May and the last day of Today’s Opportunity Plan as we’ve known it for the past 78 days–nearly three months!

That may be disappointing to some of you and, in a way, it’s disappointing to me too. However, I need a break from the daily “to do” AND I need the time to create something new for you!

Here’s the good news–my team and I (a.k.a. my hubby and two daughters who work with me on bringing goodness to you!) are working on some ways to keep this going in some other formats (watch for a new planner we’re creating that will incorporate the “Today’s Opportunity Plan” right into it! In fact, you can put yourself on a “notify me” list when the planner becomes available!)

For now, you can go back and re-use the opportunity plan on the blog (just type “Day 1” or “Day 2” in the search box to find them). Day 1 starts here.

Here are your day 78 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Today is May 31 so we’re going to read Proverbs 31 for our daily dose of wisdom! Attend church today! If you don’t have a home church, join us at ours online:

Do one thing that fills you up today!

Have you read our No More Perfect Marriages blog series? It was how we first shared our marriage story publicly. You can find it here in a PDF format:

Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Babies: Sing Jesus Loves Me to your little one!

Kids: Do something as a family today–board game, bike ride, walk, basketball tournament, etc.

Teens: Do something as a family today–board game, bike ride, walk, basketball tournament. If your teens don’t have an online youth group, I invite you to have them tune into my son-in-law’s youth service at 7pm tonight at

Take a long walk today.

Connect with the hearts of those who live under the same roof as you. Here are some questions you might ask: How’s your heart? What’s weighing heavy on you today? How can I be praying for you? Then listen well and ask more questions to keep them sharing.

Nothing. Rest

Nothing. Rest.

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
