Is it possible to have a restful holiday season?

It is if you learn to give yourself and others the gift of mental health.

Too often mental health is viewed from a negative perspective instead of a positive one. In the same way that we need to pursue physical health, we also need to pursue mental health.

In this episode licensed professional counselor Michelle Nietert and I talk about what it looks like to take mental health seriously during the holiday season (as well as throughout the year.) We dig into boundaries, self-care, and what it looks like to prioritize people in a season that’s filled with projects.

Michele’s honesty is refreshing and her wisdom is equipping. Even if you have a million things to do to get ready for Christmas, don’t skip over this episode. It will provide powerful perspective that will allow you to celebrate the birth of Jesus from a place of peace, hope, and joy.
