Today's Opportunity Plan Day 13

In this unique season of family togetherness, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here’s Day 13:

Your soul:

Read 2 Timothy 1:7. Write it out and put it somewhere where you can see it!

You:

When was the last time you did a foot soak? Today’s a great day! Epsom salts, essential oils, or even baking soda are great to put in the water to soak your feet that work so hard!

Marriage:

Give grace space to your spouse. Let him be human. Give grace to him for the things he does that irritate you.

Kids:

Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Kids: Use masking tape or even painters tape to make some pretend roads on the floor. Then pull out toy cars and let the kids “drive” on the road. They can also use legos or little people to create a “town” on the roads.

Teens: Learn something new today. What’s something you’ve always wanted to learn to do? It could be a beauty technique or how to play an instrument or how to do a magic trick. Find a YouTube video and learn something today!

Exercise:

It’s a great day for ten 20 second planks!

House/Homemaking

Time to clean out under the kitchen sink.

Clothes:

Go through everyone’s shoes (you might have done yours last week, but today’s the day to get everyone else’s done). Get rid of what doesn’t fit or is worn out.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
