In this unique season of family , we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.

Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.

If you missed my introduction to “Today’s Opportunity Plan,” you can find it here.

Here are your day 30 opportunities:

✝️Your soul:
Crank up the worship music today. If Alexa lives in your home, ask her to play Hillsong Worship or Bethel Music. Take a few minutes to thank God for what was good about your Easter celebration.

?You:
Challenge your negative thinking today. When you catch yourself thinking a negative thought, replace it with a positive one! Our thinking affects our feelings in ways we don’t understand.

?Marriage:
Set your timer for every hour today. Each time it goes off, pray for one thing for your spouse.

?‍?‍?Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.

Kids: Build a “reading tent” today. Let the kids create a tent (or you can put up a tent inside if you have one that fits), fill it with pillows and books. Then let them read or read to them in the tent today!

Teens: Suggest your teen finds a list of National Parks online. Pick a park they know nothing about and research it. What animals live there? What do you want to see if you go there? Have them share what they learn at dinner tonight.

?‍♀️Exercise:

How about a workout today to Christian music? Here’s a video you can use to guide your movement! (Start at 4:13)

?Contact:
Text a friend today and ask her how you can pray for her. Then text a prayer back!

?House/Homemaking
Tackle a stack that’s been bothering you today.

?Clothes:
1 load of laundry today washed, dried, folded, and put away. You’ve got this! (Use a timer to remember to move from the washer to the drier and from the drier to folded.)

You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
