In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 37 opportunities:
Time for some Old Testament! Read Ruth 1. Ask God to show you the lessons you can learn from her story to apply to your life.
?You:
Schedule 5 – 10 minute “play” breaks during the day (set your timer to remind you). You can do anything fun and non-work-related during that time.
?Marriage:
Get registered for the next No More Perfect Marriages Seminar–Home Edition taking place April 28-May 1. You’ll save $20 if you register by tomorrow.
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Introduce your baby to different smells today. Ideas for smell sources: food in the pantry or refrigerator, tea bags, essential oils, cooking extracts (like vanilla, peppermint, almond).
Kids: Play “guess what this is.” Select 10 different objects around the house. Blindfold your child then hand them one object. Tell them to guess by using all of their senses. Continue with the remaining objects. See how many they get right!
Teens: What is something you’ve always wanted to learn? How to play guitar? How to make brownies from scratch? How to prepare for a marathon? Have them research it and get started!
?♀️Exercise:
Take a stab at some burpees (if you don’t know what a burpee is, google it!). If you’re out of shape, modify your burpee to match your ability.
?Contact:
Connect with your child’s heart today (no matter their age). Ask how they’re doing and listen without trying to fix.
?House/Homemaking
Replenish toilet paper in all the bathrooms.
?Clothes:
1 load of laundry= wash, dry, fold, put away
