In this unique season of family, we have the opportunity to be intentional about our self-care, our relationships, and even taking care of the home we live in.
Sometimes we need a little vision, though. A plan. Some ideas that get us heading in the right direction.
Here are your day 42 opportunities:
Read Jonah 1. We can learn so much from Jonah’s story!
?You:
Take a leisurely bath today. Light some candles, read or listen to music, the Bible, or your favorite podcast.
?Marriage:
Ask your spouse, “What’s your very favorite food?” Then make it!
???Kids:
Everyone outside for 15 minutes minimum each day.
Babies: Water play. Give your baby extra time playing in a bath today.
Kids: Challenge your child to write a rhyming story today, then turn it into a book and illustrate it. They can start with, “There once was a boy/girl named ________,”
Teens: Do cut-out cookies with your teen today.
?♀️Exercise:
Sit ups. 2 sets of 10. Tuck your toes under a piece of furniture if you need to!
?Contact:
Set up a Zoom call with a group of friends you miss!
?House/Homemaking
Go through one file box or file cabinet drawer today.
?Clothes:
Have everyone put all dirty clothes in the dirty clothes baskets! Then get one load completely done: Wash. Dry. Fold. Put Away.
You’ve got a unique opportunity today! Use it well!
