Gift-giving doesn’t come easy to all of us.

(If that’s you, I am right there with you!)

I got to thinking this year, and I realized that I have been sharing some of my favorite things most weeks in my Life on the Edge of Normal newsletter. (If you don’t get it yet, you can sign-up here!) Many of these would make great gifts for the holiday season.

In past years we’ve shared other gift guides that you may want to take a look at as well:

I hope this list (or any of our gift guides) gives you some fresh inspiration as you are considering some gifts to get those you love this year!

(You can find most of these gift ideas in my Amazon Store as well. You can take a look at that here.)

Here are 12 gift ideas from my favorites this year:

Chunky Knit Blanket – We have this blanket in our guest room and our Marriage 2.0 Intensive guests are often asking me where I got it because they love it!

Vegetable Chopper/Spiralizer/Slicer – A few weeks ago Mark and I were at our daughter’s house for dinner. I was helping her prepare the meal and I fell in love with this vegetable chopper that she had! I came home and ordered one for myself and I’ve found it so helpful for my food prep. It’s easy to use and easy to clean too!

The Lady’s Mine by Francine Rivers – I love any Francine Rivers book! This one does not disappoint. If you’re looking for a great faith-based Christian novel, check it out! (Redeeming Love is my favorite Francine Rivers book!)

Russell and Hazel Planner – This is the 2024 planner I LOVE! It has both month-at-a-glance and week-at-a-glance pages. I’ve been using this planner for several years and love it!

Rocket Launcher – The grandkids loved launching this rocket at cousin’s camp this year! It goes really high so you definitely want to launch it in an open area away from trees and buildings. Tons of fun!

Glass Pitcher – I recently learned that Tupperware created before 2010 is not BPA-free. This meant it was time to replace the iced tea pitcher I’ve used for years. I love this glass one I found because it doesn’t take too much space in the fridge and it can handle both hot and cold liquids! I picked up two so we can have one for iced tea and one for water on our Marriage 2.0 Intensive weekends!

Car and Wall Travel Charger – This has saved me so many times when I’ve needed a phone charger while traveling. It works in both a wall outlet and in an older vehicle that doesn’t have USB plug ins. I keep it in my travel bag at all times!

Ann Marie Gianni – These are my skin care products that I absolutely love! The Aloe Herb Cleanser smells so good. For a limited time they are offering a special trial offer for $19.99 (a 44% savings!)

  • FREE Antioxidant Lip Balm
  • Trial Aloe Herb Cleanser
  • Trial Anti-Aging Serum
  • Sample Anti-Aging Facial Oil

FREE shipping to the US & Canada / A money-back promise…returns are easy, no questions asked / $10 coupon for future order

Collapsable Water Bottle – We used these on our Uganda trip and found them very handy! Great for travel and even to fill up at a water fountain after you go through security at the airport!

GIN FOXI Phone Charging Case – When we met with the team that traveled to Uganda with us (there were three people that went with us), they were talking about the need to take a portable charger power bank since power outages aren’t uncommon in Uganda. I mentioned that Mark and I have charging cases on our phones and they were astonished. Not a one of them had heard of charging cases! We’ve been using the MOPHIE brand for years and love it so I thought I’d share it with you too!

Mini Food Processor – This thing is a workhorse and I use it all the time! I had a large food processor that I rarely used because it was such a hassle to pull it out and put it together. An Airbnb we stayed at had a little mini one like this and I was sold. I came home and got myself one and use it all the time!

Vitamin E Skin Cream – My functional medicine doctor recommended this cream and I LOVE IT! I have super dry skin and this cream really moisturizes my skin and keeps it feeling super smooth. If you’re going to make a spa kit for someone for Christmas—put this in it!

I hope you have a great holiday season!
